Life was always with me, within me...

Sometimes I feel all hope is lost.

Clouds of gloom surround me.

It’s all dull and dreary.

The feelings have no meaning.

The words make no sense.

Everything seems so hollow,

in this darkness so dense.

I see nothing,

but a road,

A road to nowhere.

It’s as if,

Everything has come to an end;

even before it all started.

It’s more than what I can suffer

And no longer can I pretend.

All hope is lost, all hope is lost.

Life refuses to flow,

Everything has come to a standstill,

The streams appear to be stagnant,

And nothing is going according to my will.

I feel trapped in this world of illusions,

entangled in this web of shadows;

Where the unreal appears to be real.

What am I supposed to do now ?

Darkness surrounds me.

My belief is shattered.

In a sudden,

Emerges a spark !

from this darkness so dark,

Illuminating me,

with its brightness

Its light so dazzling

It surprises me!

And realization dawns (I smile)

The light came from, within me,

The meaning were always with me,

The road always led to my destination,

The end was always the beginning (of new things)

All hope was lost only to be found within me,

Life was stagnant only to be started off with a new flow,

Illusions were there only to be waded away by me,

Questions were left unanswered only to be answered by me.

 And all this remained a mystery, only to be solved by me.

The spark emerges again,

This time spreading its light

Illuminating every thought,

And I see light within me,

Around me,

All hope has been found.

‘Cuz life was always with me,

Within me.

If I could be that CHILD again....

Sometimes I wonder,

I wish
If I could be that child again,
That carefree, careless child
With an attitude so wild
No thoughts bothering me
Nor disturbing my mind,
Wish I could have those memories rewind.

When jumping and playing was all I did
And people with love, would call me a kid.
Innocence was at its best
Did I even care about the rest?

Running, catching butterflies and
Watching the setting Sun,
Every little thing was so much fun!
Enemies were aliens
Fear was a territory unknown
Oh how much I wish
I had never ever grown!

Every fight was a battle
If I lost , you would or
If you lost, I would patch up
Sharing was no great deal
When delicious was every other meal.
Faintly remember, that energy, that zeal…

Lovely were those days,
Those wonderful memories
Now ,
Life seems to have lost pace
Maturity has taken innocence’s place
“I want that innocence back”
my heart still says ,
But there is something which lacks...

Maybe I need to enjoy every little thing again
The dew drop and the sound of drizzling rain,
Erasing my sorrows and pain…
…Only If I could feel the breeze
And smell the breath of spring
Could I be that Carefree, careless child again !!!

Magic of laughter

A chuckle here, A giggle there

bubbling through you,

Wading through the silence

Like a drop of dew.

Flowing like music

with a twinkle in your eyes,

Infusing joy,

Removing all your cries.

Leaving you breathless

In a state of ecstasy,

And you’re high on life!!

With it, you become Alive ,Immortal !!

For a moment or two,

bonding with the Divine

Creating magic &

It becomes the reason for all the shine!

It’s purity never dies,

Heart’s the place where it lies.

Even the faintest sound of it

Can light up this whole world,

Just as in midst of darkness,

You come across a pearl.

Sometimes, it’ll give you a reason to live

Or sometimes just a reason to give 

This elixir of life is pure, unending, enchanting !!!!

The light, the love it spreads

Is simply so priceless!

Valuable, yet so innocent

Rare and just as precious!

Lovely and gleeful.

With it, worries become a distant murmur...

This laughter,

Contagious as it is

The biggest epidemic

One of its kind,

Maybe the gift of humankind.

Do whatever you may

Don’t ever forget to infect this world

with a bit of chuckle here and a giggle there,

Bubbling through you

With a twinkle in your eyes,

‘Cuz who knows

This little laughter,

Might just lighten up your world

And make it a better place !
